Matina Town Square Bazaar

Last tuesday, I had a talk with my highschool friend on facebook. I asked her how her business was doing and where it is located cause last time, she told me it was near my university (but I wasn't at school lol). She told me about the Bazaar at Matina Time Square's The Tent and some heartaches she experienced this past few weeks.

I got kind of interested with the bazaar thing since I don't usually go there. I asked her if I could join her just for a day to try to see what it feels like to sell stuff there.

Okay, so, stalls were already set up, everyone was ready to sell, customers came looking at the clothes/accessories/bags/shoes. I think I brought the bad luck today :( Nothing was sold at all at my friend's stall. Then, something happened... THE TENT COLLAPSED! Yes it did.

SEE THAT ??? D:
It was scary and exciting at the same time. Scary cause we thought that the one supporting the tent will hit us. Good thing it didn't *phew*. Exciting because it was the first time I saw and experienced an accident.

owners of stalls packing up
When and where did it all start? The rain started pouring hard. The sides of the tent (I can't find the right words to say) were starting to build up their own little pool. The owner of the stalls at the side opened a tiny whole on the tent to lessen it. It didn't work though. The one supporting the tent finally gave up (it was probably too heavy already), and poof! There. One side collapsed. Everyone ran afterwards because: 1.) Other sides might collapse too 2.) We might get electrocuted. There were people who got hurt from the first accident. Yes, there was a 2nd one. But not as bad as the first one.

meet my friend, Ayanna. She wanted her photo taken with the tent as her BG lol
All I wanted was to experienced what it feels like to sell.. but they actually gave me something else lol

  14. Namiss ko tuloy magbenta! ^^ I used to own an online shop and I also used to join bazaars. Selling in bazaars is tiring but very fulfilling. Anyway, I'm glad you didn't get hurt. Kalokoa naman na biglang umulan!

    1. almost everyone was worried about their stocks (especially the brand new ones from bangkok and other places) getting wet or damaged or wtv . and also what the administration will do to make it up to the vendors for the losses
